------------------- Subject: SYMBOLISM OF BIRTH, WITH THE BAPTISM OF JESUS \u200b\u200bCHRIST AND THE ATONEMENT
friends (as): I share you the second part of a very interesting video. In fact, it's something we do in the Church in which I believe and profess. already in 1990, when he was a high school student, I had read on this issue.
The outcome of the conception and birth by which we all had to come to this world, is symbolized by those Centenerio words of Lord Jesus Christ, when He told Nicodemus, "Verily, verily, I say unto you is born of Water and the Spirit can not enter the kingdom of God. " To which, Nicodemus, a highly educated man with a logic and reason limited to the material, he replied: "How I can be born again he is old?". And, in his mind full of logic and science concepts more than spiritual, the fact I tried to imagine how it might be possible to re-enter the womb. Jesus Christ, in an impressive manner, then says, " The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound thereof but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. " In other words, entering the spiritual world may seem small to be explained in words or by deeds, it can only be experienced and is of greater benefit for which you do, than he who simply hears. Many times I have held discussions with people who want them to check or verify some aspect of doctrine with a scientific foundation, archaeological or other secular. My response is similar to that of Jesus Christ nearly two thousand years ago: "If you open your mind to the spiritual, nothing I can do for you, but will show the tables of Moses."

In a dialogue in which we talked about some vestiges of the cultures of America and its relationship with the Book of Mormon, it was a stage who did not believe, not to leave any doubts. Came a simple phrase: "All knowledge and archaeological remains are not the way to check the veracity of the Book of Mormon. For those who believed before seeing, yes."
In conclusion, being born again is an act of faith and commitment, not explainable by science and pure reason, but if by personal revelation about his need.
